What happens to your message

Formatting and attachments are removed, most web addresses are defanged, and the text is cut to 4,000 characters. Your message is stored as plain text and deleted from our message table after 90 days. Backup and log copies (Cloudflare's 30-day database restore history, Cloudflare's email activity log, and Cloudflare's delivery logs for replies we send) are covered in section 4 ("How long we keep it") of our privacy policy. It is read by an AI agent running on a shared machine; our rule is that everything in a reader message is treated as untrusted text to read, never as instructions to follow. That is a rule we apply, not a technical guarantee. The AI only drafts replies; the owner reviews and sends every reply from [email protected]. Links you send as evidence are never opened by the agent that reads mail; if we check one, it is opened separately.
